600 Pound Moose Saved After Falling Through The Ice

Victor Zavalypich, a helicopter Pilot flying over Lake Arantur (in Russia), saw a dark spot below on the ice.

After landing, they realized it was a large female moose that fell through the ice. The moose, weighing in at over over 600 lbs, was cold and exhausted from being in the icy waters.

Watch below as Victor and three of his passengers take almost 2 hours to pull the 600lb moose, they nicknamed ‘Manka’ out of the water.

“Who knows, perhaps one day we’ll meet again, said the smiling rescuers”.
